  5. Take Sugar 3/4 cup (measuring along with carrat cup)
  6. Take Yelekai 2 or powder pinch

Gajar ka halwa, also known as gajorer halua, gajrela, gajar pak, and carrot halwa is a carrot-based sweet dessert pudding from the Indian subcontinent. It is made by placing grated carrots in a pot containing a specific amount of water. Reheat carrot halwa just before serving with a little milk. If not serving immediately, refrigerate carrot halwa and re-heat and serve when desired.

Instructions to make Carrat Alva:
  1. Take a non-stick pan. Add ghee and then add kashew. It will comes golden brown color. Next add it golden raisins. It will comes balloon and take them separately.
  2. Same pan add it grated carrat and saute it 2-3 mints. Carrat turns color change lightly then you add milk along with ingredients in medium flame and saute it well in side storing milk also.
  3. The carrat comes little thick and add it sugar (see measurements in ingredients). Once the sugar will added carrat comes loose.
  4. Then add yelekai and saute it. It will come again little thick then add fried kashew and golden raisins and finally add little ghee saute it lightly and turn off the stove. (Note:Quarter cup sugar each one cup carrat)
