  3. Prepare 2 dry red chillies
  4. Get 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves

  6. Prepare 1 tsp oil
  7. Take 1/4 tsp urad dal
  8. Take 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  9. Prepare 1/4 tsp tumeric powder
  10. Get 1 big pinch of asafoetida (hing)
  11. Prepare leaves Few curry
  12. Make ready to taste Salt
Steps to make Awla-Corainder Chutney:
  1. Wash and pat dry awla. Chopped into pieces, discard inner seed part.
  2. In pan add heat oil. Add urad dal, mustard seeds as splutter add tumeric powder, asafoetida, curry leaves, chopped green chillies,red dry chillies. Saute for 1 minute.
  3. Add chopped alwa pieces,salt. Mix well. Cover with lid filled with water and cook on slow flame for few minutes till softened…in between stirring. Cool it.
  4. Add this cooked awla in mixer jar. Add corainder leaves. Grind coarsely to make chutney.
  5. Transfer in serving bowl. Serve/ Relish this spicy & tangy Awla Chutney as side dish.
