- Prepare oil
- Prepare mustard
- Prepare chana dal
- Prepare urad dal

- Prepare curd
- Take water
- Make ready salt
- Take Eno (or 1/2 tsp soda)

Instructions to make Instant Oats Idli:
- Take oats in a blender and grind to a coarse powder.
- In a kadai heat oil and fry split cashews and keep aside.
- In the same oil add mustard. Once it crackles add the dals and fry until crispy. Add crushed ginger, finely chopped chili and curry leaves. Fry for a minute
- Add rava and roast in medium flame until aromatic. Add oats coarse powder and fry until aromatic. Let it to cool.
- In a wide bowl beat curd. Add the cool oats mix, salt, water and mix well. Add 2 tbsp coriander leaves and mix. Set aside for 10 mins.
- Meanwhile heat idli steamer with water. Grease idli plates with oil. Place roasted cashews in each idli plate with little grated carrot and coriander leaves.
- After 10 mins of rest add eno salt to the batter and gently mix. Batter will be light and airy. Do not overmix.
- Immediately fill the idli plates with batter and place the plates in the steamer. Steam for 10 minutes. Switch off the flame and let it stand for another 10 minutes.
- Remove the plates from steamer and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Carefully scoop out with a spoon.
- Instant Oats idli are ready to be served. Serve it along with coconut chutney.
