Place the frying pan with the pancetta in back over a medium-low heat. Add the drained spaghetti and egg. Return cooked pancetta to pan; add cooked and drained spaghetti. Toss to coat and heat through, adding more olive oil if it seems dry or is sticking together.

Instructions to make Spaghetti Carbonara:
  1. Put spaghetti in boiled water cook for preference of bite. 8-15 mins.
  2. Mix the cheese and double cream together in a bowl.
  3. Fry bacon lardons in a separate deep pan until brown.
  4. Add the crushed garlic and optional spring onion to the pan.
  5. Add black pepper and add the cooked spaghetti to the deep pan.
  6. Turn off heat and pour in the cream and cheese mixture. Stir together until melted. (If the mixture is to cool, add heat carefully to not burn or spilt)
  7. Add salt to taste, garnish with (optional parsley)

Return cooked pancetta to pan; add cooked and drained spaghetti. Toss to coat and heat through, adding more olive oil if it seems dry or is sticking together. Add beaten eggs and cook, tossing constantly with tongs or large fork until eggs are barely set. Beat together the eggs, cream, most of the Parmesan and plenty of ground black pepper. Remove a cupful of pasta-cooking water and then drain the spaghetti and tip it into the pancetta pan.
