I wanted to try Oats Paniyaram after trying oats kozhukattai, A year when I tried oats paniyaram , it became so sticky inside and I was not satisfied at all so didn't post it here.

The ingredients needed to make Oats paniyaram:
  1. Take 1 cup oats
  2. Take 1/2 cup rava
  3. Take 1 finely chopped onion
  4. Get As per taste Green chilli
  5. Get 1 cup curd
  6. Take 1 tsp Oil
  7. Make ready 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  8. Get 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  9. Make ready As per taste Salt

Instant oats paniyaram recipe- a quick no fermentation recipe that you can instantly fix for breakfast or quick snack. The addition of veggies add vibrancy along with nutrition in this recipe. This is the Traditional khara paniyaram with oats instead of the rice. I tried it out from another blog and all of us at home liked it.

Steps to make Oats paniyaram:
  1. Grind oats in a grinder.
  2. Mix oats,suji and curd and half cup water in a bowl and let it rest for 15 min.
  3. After 15 min check consistency add water to form idli batter consistency.
  4. Now add onion, salt, chilli, soda and mix.
  5. Heat paniyaram pan add 1 drop oil in each cavity.
  6. Add mustard seed in oil and fill batter in medium flame.
  7. Check after 2 min if it dries out flip it and cook it for 2 min.
  8. Now serve hot with your favourite chutney and enjoy! Tip: you can made it with zero oil too in non-stick paniyaram pan just miss the tempering.

This is the Traditional khara paniyaram with oats instead of the rice. I tried it out from another blog and all of us at home liked it. I made it few times at home and relished it everytime. Paniyaram - also called Gunta Ponganalu is a popular breakfast dish in Andhra and a regular item in my weekly menu. It is usually made using dosa batter. - Paniyaram is made on special pan which comes with multiple fissures, where batter is steamed using mould. - We can also prepare them instantly using oats and veggies.
