- In a bowl, take the karela(Bitter gourd) peel, add salt, mix well, drain the excess water and let it cool in the freezer for 10-15 minutes. Doing so will remove all of Karela's bitterness.
- Now put oil in a pan and fry the chickpea flour. Then add salt and turmeric and mix well.
- Saute karela peel in oil and add to roasted chickpeas flour and mix well. Lotiyu is ready.
