Ab dough ki tarha gondha lain.(fondant. To make Chicken Achari, Take a pan and heat oil in it. Put fennel seeds, nigella seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and dry red chillies. Put chopped onions in the pan and saute them.

  1. Wash rice well and soak it for 2 hour. (I use sela rice. For basmati or any other rice soak for just half an hour)
  2. First take a bowl, put Chicken, Yoghurt, achari masala, dried plums, Tamarind and yellow food colour in it. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Take a pot heat up the clarified butter and add tomatoes paste. Cook on high flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Then add marinated chicken and red chilli powder. And cook for few minutes.
  5. Mix achari masala with lemon juice and fill it in green chillies.
  6. Then add green chillies and cook until water drained.
  7. In the meanwhile, take another pot, pour water and all spices and boil until simmer.
  8. Once water simmer, add soaked rice and cook until done. (basmati or any other rice 70% to 75% cooked)
  9. Once rice done, drain excess water.
  10. In the same pot, put Chicken in it then set rice on top.
  11. Then put some mint leaves, lemon slices and fry onions on top and add yellow food colour and some oil. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on very low heat.
  12. Dhuwadaar achari biryani is ready to serve.

Put fennel seeds, nigella seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and dry red chillies. Put chopped onions in the pan and saute them. Then add ginger and garlic paste and cook while stirring time and again. Put turmeric and red chilli powder and stir well for a few seconds.
