  9. Get 3 Dry deegi chilli
  10. Take 1/4 spoon asafoetida

In a mixie, blend all the ingredients mentioned under 'For Chutney' (except pumpkin peels) to get a coarse paste. Then add the steamed pumpkin and blend again to make a chutney consistency paste. Prepare the tadka by adding jeera & mustard seeds to hot oil. Pour the tadka over the chutney.

Instructions to make Pumpkin peel chutney:
  1. Heat the kadai,add 2 spoons oil, chana dal,urd dal, 2 bydagi chilli and fry them. Now add pumpkin peel and seeds and fry it
  2. Add fresh coconut and mix, switch off the flame.
  3. Take mixi jar and add fried mix and little water and nicely grind them.
  4. Heat the kadai, add oil, mustard, chilli and asafoetida and fry it. Now add grinded mixture. Add salt and dry mango powder and mix. Once it boil… chutney ready.
  5. Serve with dosa /chapathi / hot rice and ghee😊
