Instructions to make Khichdi or khichri:
  1. Pressure cook rice, lentils, salt, pepper and some ghee (1 whistle) generally, may vary at your end.
  2. In a pan put some ghee, let it get warm, add cumin seeds, green chillies, onion and tomato,ginger & Cook well
  3. Transfer pressure cooked rice and lentils in to the pan. Adjust spices accordingly
  4. Serve with salad, pappad, chillies,yogurt
