- Grind a smooth paste of dhania, mustard and poppy seeds
- Heat some oil in a wok and Deep fry the baris
- Heat some in a wok, add panch phoran and bay leaves. Let it splutter and add the bitter gourds. Fry for a minute and then add the rest of the veggies. Add some salt as required. Saute it very well. Add the blended paste, along with ginger paste. Mix it very well for a minute or two.
- Add some water and cover it with a lid.
- When you feel that the veggies have softened and you got the desired consistency of the gravy, add the milk and some sugar. Let it be sweetish
- Add some ghee. Mix it very well.
