In a large skillet, melt the butter. In same skillet, melt rest of the butter, add apple, and cook quickly over high heat until lightly browned, but not mushy. Remove apples and butter from pan and put in the bowl with the onions. With the pan back on the burner, add sausage, crumbling as you cook it over medium heat, and cook until lightly browned.

- Boil the broth with the giblets, neck, celery and onions. Add half the salt.
- Mix the eggs, dressing, poultry seasonings, and boiled celery and onions.

- Brown the sausage add the apples, pecans, sausage and apple butter
- Mix the broth and boiled eggs to dressing
- Mix everything and bake 30 minutes covered.
- Remove cover and bake 15 more minutes.
- Let rest 10 minutes
