- Be ready with all the ingredients
- In a mixer grind the parboiled peas, green chillies and ginger. Add water only if required.

- In a small kadai, heat oil. Once heated add the curry leaves, urad dal and mustard seeds. Saute for a minute.
- Pour the tempering on the Semolina batter. Add salt.

- Grease a idli mould with oil. Pour the mixture in to the greased mould. Place the mould in the preheated idli stand. Cook for 10 - 12 minutes. Once cooked de mould them.
