- Prepare 2 Chopped green chillies

We have used fresh green peas to give nice green colour and to make it healthy. Recipe of tomato onion chutney Idli is a South Indian breakfast recipe. It needs preparations like soaking the Rice and Urad Dal overnight and then grinding them and allowing them to foment etc. I had posted an Instant Rawa Idli earlier.
Steps to make Green peas Idli:
- Take green peas, green chillies,ginger in to grinder, add 3 tbsp water and make a fine paste. Now transfer this paste in to the bowl,add rava/semolina/suji,curd and mix it well. Now add salt,mix it well,cover it and leave it for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes mix it well. Now put oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal(flame should be low to medium). Sauté until light brown, add curry leaves and put this tadka in to the batter and mix it well. Now Idli batter is ready to use.
- Take Idli mould and grease it with the oil. Now keep the Idli stand/steamer or any utensils which is fit for the Idli mould on the gas and put some water.Now add Eno fruit salt and put 1 Tsp water top on the Eno fruit salt and mix it well. (Don’t mix too much). Put the batter in the Idli mould. Now keep the Mould in the Idli stand/steamer for steam.
- It will take 12-15 minutes. After 12 -15 minutes switch off the gas and let it cool down. After few minutes demould all the idli and enjoy with any chutney.
