  2. Get 1/2 cup peas
  3. Take 10-12 cashews
  4. Get 2 tbsp ghee

  8. Make ready 8-10 curry leaves
  9. Take 1 small onion chopped

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan add 1 tbsp ghee. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter
  2. Now add curry leaves and dry red chilli
  3. Add chopped onion and sauté till they turn pink.
  4. Add peas and cover the pan for cooking
  5. Heat 3 cups water and let it boil
  6. Dry roast rawa in a separate pan for just 1-2 minutes. Don’t brown it.
  7. When water is boiled add it in the pan and add salt and pepper too.
  8. Now slowly add roasted rawa but keep stirring continuously. Rawa will absorb the water and will comr like a mass together.
  9. Just before it absorbs whole water add the remaining 1 tbsp ghee and switch off the flame
  10. Cover the pan for two minutes and then serve hot upma.
