- In a wok, add oil. Heat it up. Add asafoetida, cumin. Add tomato paste. Stir fry it.
- Now add malai. Add peas and makhanas. Stir fry them for 2 minutes.
- Add a bit of water. Allow it to boil for a few mins and then serve hot.
Note: add more water if you like more gravy. Turn off the heat add garam masala and cilantro mix it well. Matar Makhana is a delicious rich curry filled with the goodness of foxnuts and green peas.
