- Peel and roughly chop the sweet potatoes
- Steam/ pressure cook them until soft
- Meanwhile, chop or grind the palm sugar and spread the scrapped won a plate
- Once the potatoes are ready, mash them well in a bowl
- Season with salt and add the rice flour
- Mix and knead for a minute
- Scoop portions of the potato mix and add a teaspoon of palm sugar to it
- Seal and create balls(you need to finish this while the potato mix is still warm)
- Set water to boil and then let it simmer
- Add the potato balls in batches to the water and cook for 1-2 minutes
- Remove from water and immediately coat them with scrapped coconut
