Peanut Chutney Recipe Recipe Preparation Take a pan, heat it. I got this Andhra hotel style peanut chutney recipe from Vahchef's video. Vahchef mentioned that he learnt this chutney recipe from the cook of a popular street side hotel. As this recipe is completely different from the usual hotel style peanut chutney without coconut, I tried it immediately.

Instructions to make Andhra Style Peanut Chutney:
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add peanuts and fry until golden brown. Remove from pan and allow to cool.
  2. Add dry red chillies, onion, ginger and garlic in the pan and fry for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from pan and allow to cool.
  3. Transfer the peanuts and remaining fried ingredients into a blender. Add tamarind, salt and water and blend to a smooth paste. Remove in a clean and dry bowl.
  4. For the tempering: Heat oil in a tadka pan. Add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, green chillies and red chillies. Pour this tempering over the chutney.
  5. Mix well and Serve this awesome Peanut Chutney with dosa, idli, uttapam etc.
