The ingredients needed to make Trifle:
  1. Take 80 g red jelly
  2. Get 1 medium sponge cake cut in pieces
  3. Prepare 1 x410g Rhodes peach drained
  4. Make ready 250 g cream stiffly beaten

Made with fruit, a thin layer of sponge fingers commonly soaked in sherry or another fortified wine, and custard, the contents of a trifle are highly variable; many varieties exist, some forgoing fruit entirely and instead using other ingredients, such as chocolate, coffee or vanilla. The fruit and sponge layers may be suspended in fruit. Pour over a thick layer of custard, pushing it against the side of the dish to seal in the cake below. Leave to cool and set with a skin - this makes a barrier for the jelly.

  1. Prepare the jelly separately and allow it to set

  4. Top with whipped cream and place it in a fridge
  5. It's ready

Pour over a thick layer of custard, pushing it against the side of the dish to seal in the cake below. Leave to cool and set with a skin - this makes a barrier for the jelly. When the custard is cold and set, and the jelly is on the point of setting. The trifle is so popular that other desserts have been adapted to this form.
