  1. Get 250 gm Leftover tadka daal
  2. Make ready 200 gm Wheat flour
  3. Take 4 tsp oil

There are many days, I have leftover dal sitting in my fridge and not in mood to reheat and finish with rice. This dal paratha recipe is made with with a base of whole wheat flour and stuffed with yellow moong dal and Indian spices. Perfect to cook at home, on any day when you feel like having comfort food ! Steps to make Daal Paratha:
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine daal, wheat flour, oil, salt, enough water and knead properly
  2. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions,make a ball and dust with some wheat flour.
  3. Roll ball into 5 inches in diameter circle with a little flour
  4. On a hot tawa place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute until golden brown spot appear
  5. Furthermore, flip the paratha untill golden brown
  6. Brush oil/ghee, flip again once or twice till both the sides are cooked properly
  7. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough to make more paratha
  8. Finally, serve paratha with butter, sauce, yogurt, or pickle.
