White sauce or béchamel sauce is a simple sauce created with flour, butter and milk as its primary ingredients. While the sauce originated in France and is the foundation of French cuisine, it has also been extensively used in Italian recipes for generations.   6. Mix it well and let the sauce boil for 1-2 minutes or till it turns nice smooth and creamy.
  7. Meanwhile, heat 2 tsp butter in a pan on low flame. - Saute onion, capsicum and corn.
  8. Further, add these veggies and boiled pasta to the prepared white sauce. Mix it well.
  9. Add in the grated cheese, give it a nice mix.
  10. Transfer to a serving plate. Finally grate cheese, sprinkle some chilli flakes, oregano and serve immediately.

  12. Parmesan, cheddar or any processed cheese can be used in this recipe.
  13. You can also add mushroom, broccoli, yellow and red bell pepper or any veggie of your choice.
  14. Always take equal quantity of butter and all purpose flour for making white sauce.
