  3. Cook the spaghetti or linguini according to the instructions.
  4. Add pasta to your bowl, sauce on top of the pasta and sprinkling with the basil, chopped chillis if you are using, chilli oil and the vegan or non-vegan cheese. Don’t forget to remove the bay leaf!

Method Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over a medium heat. Add the mince and the onion and fry for five minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mince is browned and the onions softened. When ready to cook the spaghetti, heat a large saucepan of water and add a pinch of salt. Cook according to the packet instructions. Once the spaghetti is cooked through, drain and add to the pan.
