  1. Devein and butterfly prawns. Leave head on if you prefer. Rinse prawns and drain in a colander

  3. Marinate for minimum 15 min to overnight. If you marinating for less than 15 minutes then add a squeeze of lemon juice to the marinade for extra flavour. I don't add lemon juice when I marinate seafood overnight as I find that it breaks down the prawns
  4. Start a braai or use a gas stove. The heat should be medium heat
  5. Put prawns face down till you see shell starting to change colour, flip over onto shell. Leave till shell turns a pink reddish colour
  6. Baste the prawns with the leftover marinade and garlic parsley butter
  7. Take prawns off the braai/gas stove and squeeze lemon juice over. Enjoy!
