  10. Make ready 250 ml Fresh cream
  11. Get 1 Salt
  12. Make ready 1 Black pepper
  13. Take 1/2 Red pepper chopped roughly
  14. Make ready 1/2 Yellow pepper chopped
  15. Make ready 2 large Carrots. Peeled and chopped
  16. Get 2 medium Potatoes. Peeled and chopped
  17. Get 1/2 packages Bacon chopped
  18. Make ready 1/2 tsp Dried sage
  19. Make ready 1 Chili finely chopped
  20. Take 1/2 packages Fresh button mushrooms

Add the cream and shellfish and heat through. Taste and season again if necessary. Remove from the heat and serve immediately. A simple seafood chowder is one of the most comforting things on a chilly Winter day.

Instructions to make Seafood Chowder:
  1. Fry bacon bits for a few minutes. Add prawns to pan and fry until colour changes ( about 3/4 minutes). Place in slow cooker. All ingredients except for cream. Do not drain the corn, add liquid to the pot. Add 1/2 can of water to the soup can and rinse out into the pot. Cook on low for 5 hours. Take out half of the chowder and blend with stick blender. Be careful to throw prawns and calamari back into the pot whole. This will thicken the chowder. Add cream and cook for a further 15 minutes.
