Instructions to make Chilli Chicken:
- Chop and take 2-3 onions, garlic, ginger, green chillies, tomatoes and make a paste of it in a mixer grinder.
- Wash the chicken properly in a bowl then add 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 egg, turmeric powder, cornflour and red chilli powder. Marinate and keep aside.
- Heat oil in pan and half fry the chicken.
- Remove the fried chicken from heat add more oil to the pan and heat it.
- After the oil heats up add bay leaf and dried red chilli, let it crackle.
- Then add onions and add a little bit of salt and turmeric powder then fry till it turns translucent.
- Add the grinded mixture that was prepared at first, capsicum and the half fried chicken and fry till the raw smell of the mixture disappears.
- Then add the rest of the tomatoes and fry till the tomatoes turn soft.
- Then add soya sauce, chilli sauce and tomato ketchup and fry till the raw smell disappears.
- Garnish it with spring onions and serve.
